    about

This album is the first label supported debut album of the Small Town Titans. It is also the first album that the band has recorded as a three piece, which reflects monstrous growth and evolution since their previous releases. From hard hitting party anthems like "Rowdy & Reckless" and "Then & Now", to heartfelt ballads including "Broken Record" and "Pops", as well as pseudo operatic metal epochs like "The Devil's Choir", this album has something for absolutely everyone.

Track Name: Rowdy & Reckless
V1: I don't wanna get on the bandwagon. I’ll burn that wagon down and join the band. Travelin' troubadours terrorizing street corners just to try to get some supper in our hands. Now, I’ve waited all my life to get this off my chest, scream bloody murder, until someone understands that it ain't about the money, the drugs, or the women. I make this noise just because I can. And we'll all join in to that original sin.

CH: So, let's get rowdy and reckless. Let's get rowdy and reckless. Let’s get rowdy and reckless just for the hell of it, just for the hell of it.

V2: I don't wanna step on your toes, man, but you better get the hell out of the way. Let the walkers walk and the talkers alone, and listen to the song we have to sing. We sing of times when we celebrate the ways we make our case on a stage or in a circle amongst the crowd, ‘cause, it ain't about the glory, the glitz, or the glamour. It's about lacing up, movin’ out, and gettin’ loud, and we'll all breakdown to that original sound.

(CH 2x)
Track Name: We Owe You The Truth
V1: I am your voice. I'm your American Idol. I'm idling around for a chance at the title. I am a leech on the side of your brain that's telling you I'm special in every single way. Everything you hear is fake. Everything you give they take. We'll shake you ‘til you're all awake. Every single thing is fake.
V2: I am your life. I'm your American Dream. Your debt has hit the ceiling and you're ripping at the seams. You Gotta lie, steal, cheat until you win that game, until you’re drowning in your fortune and choking on your fame. Everything you hear is fake. Everything you give they take. We'll shake you ‘til you're all awake. Every single thing is fake.
CH: So are you with us or against us? It's time to draw that line and pick your side ' cause we owe you the truth. Are you with us or against us? It's time to draw that line and pick your side gotta pick that side tonight. 'Cause we owe you the truth.
BR: You are the voice. You're the American Idol (2x). This is your chance at the title.
CH (2x)
Track Name: Doorbell
V1: I had a beer with a friend one night. He said, ‘Man tell me what makes you happy inside.’ I said, ‘6 strings and a woman to love. That's the kind of life I've been dreaming of. Well, I learned fast it’s hard to have both. My 6 string life is always on the road. Well, new cities new stories to tell, but I'd trade it all away just to have my own doorbell.’ Yeah, I want my own doorbell.

V2: He said, ‘Look around, what do you see?’ I looked him in the eye and said ‘Your lifestyle is healthy. 4 walls, food in the fridge, a well trained dog and a stable job.’ He said, ‘Those are material things. Don't ever take for granted things that money can’t buy you. I got a house, a car, and suitcase, but I'd trade it all away just to have my own dream to chase.’

CH:You have a doorbell, and I have a dream. I wonder, if we trade our lives, would we truly be happy?

V3: Now I go around singing the truth. I finally realized that what I've been through is something that you can't take from me. It's not concrete, it is memories, and I'll never take for granted, again ,all the loving eyes that wanna see where I'll go, and the other side is the same old truth. Where would your family be without you? (Ch 2x).

BR: It's all in your mind. The grass seems greener on the other side. It's all in your mind. You gotta water yours until you’re satisfied.

CH (2x)
Track Name: Shadows
V1: I was smoldering inside this room, bored as hell, sippin' on bittersweet wine, when I felt a chill, like a ghost, up and down my crooked spine. For once in my decadent life, her stare cut through me like a knife, into my heart of stone, I stood up from my throne. I asked her a question that chilled her to her bones.

CH: Tell me do you wanna dance with your shadows tonight? Tell me when you're ready, ‘cause I'll be the shadow that dances with you through the night.

V2: I waited, hesitated, assumed I'm the one that she hated, but to my surprise she looked into my eyes and told me that she had been waiting, and she said.

(CH 2x)

Br: You don't have to sell your soul. You don't have to change your ways. All you have to do is swing yourself while I sway. I don't want to buy your love. I don't even want to know your name. All I want to know is how to go the way that you came.

CH (2x)
Track Name: Junkie For You (Hey, Mama)
Ch: Hey, mama you don't need no lipstick. Hey, mama you don't need nothing fixed, 'cause the only fix in this whole situation Is the fix that you're giving me, ‘cause I'm a junkie for you.

V1: Are you gonna be my Bonnie, ’cause baby I'ma be your Clyde. We'll paint up the town, load up the Tommy, and stick up the five and dimes, ‘cause it's a crime the way the world paints your face when your face is like a porcelain doll. Let me hold you in my arms, let me show you what it is let's push that world against the wall.

Pre CH: Don't put a front up for me, baby. I want your good, bad, and ugly. ‘Cause you're too pretty to quit, but time ain't on our side so it's time to split.

(CH)

V2: Are you gonna listen to them or are you gonna listen to me? Salesman saying if you don't feel pretty, he's got everything you need. He's got diet pills, cover up, things that say you're not enough, things for you to hide behind, but you're the prettiest baby when you got nothin’ on ya, and there's nothin’ on your mind.

(Pre CH)

(CH)
Track Name: Broken Record
V1: Break that mirror, mirror on the wall. You're the fairest of them all. No reflection is gonna tell you what I see.You don't need a magazine to tell you how to be. All you need to do is hold my hand, and let yourself breathe.

CH: I'm trying to get through to you in any way I can, Even if it means not saying a word and having no plan. I'm trying to understand why you can't sleep at night When I'm your broken record, singing everything's alright.

V2: Break that mirror mirror on the wall. It ain't making a difference how I feel at all. Everything about you is damn near Perfect to me. Stop this insanity what's it gonna take to make you believe? What's it gonna take to set your mind at ease?

(CH)

BR: I'll be the light to your fire in a dark room. Baby, c'mon now. When your walls cave in, I'll dig you out somehow.

(CH)
Track Name: The Day That I Die
Intro: Is this the day that I die?

V1: I fall asleep into this deadly dream. I'm barely alive or so it seems. The morning forest is as black as night. Wandering through, I stumble upon a beast. He looks at me with his golden eyes says and says ‘these are the eyes of your demise.’ And as I tremble right before I die, I say ‘I ain't going down without a fight.’

CH: Is this the moment? is this the time? Am I ready to walk to the light? And as I question how I lived my life,I wonder, is this the day that I die?

V2: I feel the raging storm begin to brew. Oh, that thunder will be coming soon. When it starts I wonder how it will end. Which one will break when we bend?

(CH)

CH 2: It's not this moment. It's not this time. I'm not ready to walk to the light. There is no question how I live my life. No, this isn't the day that I die.
Track Name: Then & Now
V1: Hey there. Do I know you? Do you know me like the others do? Did you know my name before I hit the news? I'm giving you the burden of proof. ‘cause if I remember way back when, every time I failed you would try to win over everyone, crack a joke over me. Well, crack this over your head and see

CH: If you didn't know me then, You'll never know me now (2x) When I asked you for help, Well, you never helped me out. If you didn't know me then, You'll never know me now.

V2: This ain't what it used to be. There ain't no opportunity. There is no way to get to me, except to let me be. There are no more open doors. I killed that policy, when you broke your bread, left me for dead, and begging on my knees

(CH)

You will never know me now (4x)

BR: The train has left just as you feared. Whatever there was has disappeared. What you consider bittersweet Is nothing but sweet to me.

(CH)

You will never know me now (4x)
If you didn’t know me then
Track Name: Pops
V1: I've got your blood in my veins. I've got your features on my face. I wish that I could erase What's happened lately. I hope there really is a better place.

CH: If you've ever lost, I feel you. If you've ever cried, i hear you. If you've ever laid your hand on a heart that doesn't beat , I invite you to come stand along side me. You're not alone.

V2: Please, don't feel sorry for me. Please, don't feel sorry for my family, 'cause I won't ever mourn a death. I'd rather celebrate the life that was left

CH 2: if you've ever lost, you feel me. if you've ever cried, you hear me. if you've ever laid your hand on a heart that doesn't beat, i invite you to come stand along side me. You're not alone.

BR: Soon you'll start to feel happy. You'll start to laugh about some things you used to cry about, and I can help if you let me. That's what my friends said. That's what my family said. that's what everyone around me said. Yeah, i got friends. i got family. I've got loved ones all around me. One thing that i've learned. Everybody has their turn.

CH 3: If you've ever lost, we feel you. If you've ever cried, we hear you. If you've ever laid your hand on a heart that doesn't beat, I invite you to come stand along side me. You're not alone.
Track Name: The Devil's Choir
"The Devil's Choir"

V1: Desperate times call for desperate measures. Call for desperate people looking for a savior on high. They think that there's hope here as long as they stay here.

Pre CH: There's no hope here as long as we stay here.

CH: There's Angels in the Devil's Choir. I hear it every time they sing. No wonder it all sounds the same now. They sold their soul and lost their wings.

V2: Desperate times call for desperate leaders. Acting as if they aren't parasites upon the people. They'll say that there's hope here, as long as we stay here feeding them but the fact is.

(Pre CH)

(CH)

BR: They're trying to say that I am a liar. They're trying to blame me for their problems. They're singing on high, that I am a heathen, but all I'm trying to do is tell you the truth. So many lies. They use to hypnotize. They'll try to memorize you, mystify you, mesmerize you.

(CH 2x)

You should've seen them fall.
